In the 40-second clip, young people playing football on the streets of Palakkad can be seen wearing white shorts and a purple t-shirt. While playing with the kids, Rahul Gandhi takes the ball from one of them and tosses it in their direction as he enjoys the game to thunderous applause. The video has received thousands of views and likes since it was shared.

In 150 days, the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress will travel 3,570 kilometers. On September 7, it began in Tamil Nadu at Kanyakumari, and it will end in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Yatra, which began in Kerala on September 10 in the evening, will traverse the state over 450 kilometers. It will stop in seven districts over 19 days, before entering Karnataka on October 1.

On social media, several images and videos of the yatra have appeared. While in others, Rahul Gandhi could be seen chatting with women. He was also seen taking pictures with children and having tea at a hotel. Rahul also met people who were waiting on both sides of the road.
