Ten football players and club staff have been infected in the First and Second Bundesliga show tests of the first batch of coronavirus, according to the media.
The Bundesliga has declared that so far no details, names of the infected, and clubs where they came from have been released after a total of 1,724 tests have been done among players and professional staff.
The coronavirus testing will continue regardless of the start of the championship which should resume at the end of May.
Anyone who has been in contact with the infected must spend 14 days in self-isolation and all clubs will have to be quarantined before being allowed to play, according to the rules.
Until now, Cologne has confirmed three positive tests and one Stuttgart.
