Penalty decision was a turning point says Bartra

During the match with Real Betis on Thursday night, Marc Bartra told about the decision to give Sevilla a penalty.

Referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz gave a penalty to the defender. The referee arbitrated the former Barcelona man of fouling Luuk de Jong.

As Seville hit his local rivals in the opening game of the return of LaLiga Santander, Lucas Ocampos scored the penalty.

“It’s incredible,” Bartra told Movistar when asked about the penalty.

“I’ve won the position in the air, I jump before and De Jong finds himself with my arms. I think it was a turning point.”

“It’s amazing-look at his reaction. No one protested anything. Football is a contact sport.”

“I don’t think it’s a penalty and it all decides. At this level, the details decide a lot.”
