Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has overviewed the team’s 0-1 defeat to Chelsea in round 29 of the EPL.
“Five games at home without a win is not even close to acceptable. We get too pessimistic when we lose 0-1, you can’t do that. Football is also about the ability to take penalties,” said Robertson to BBC Sport.
“Liverpool cannot rely on the past. Last season is over, that’s it. We are nowhere near as good as Liverpool should be. Our decline continues and that’s not good.”
“There are fewer and fewer matches left, we need to put pressure on the teams below us. People will think we are in crisis and we need to produce results to prove that we are not. At the moment we are not doing that.”
