On Friday during a press conference when questioned about the Borussia Dortmund striker, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane said that Erling Braut Haaland was a “good” player.
Los Blancos have allegedly identified Haaland as a potential target and are believed to be on the market for a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
The 20-year-old has been in excellent shape for Dortmund, scoring 21 times in 23 appearances in all competitions, since arriving during the January transfer window.
The Norwegian international may allegedly leave Dortmund for EUR 75 m ( £ 68 m) in the summer of 2022 and Zidane revealed that he admired the youngster when questioned before the clash with Cadiz on Saturday.
Zidane told reporters, “Haaland isn’t my player, but he’s good. What can I say?”
It is also said that the center-forward is a target for Manchester City and Juventus, with BVB apparently facing a serious battle to maintain its services on a long-term basis.
