Man City’s Borges imitates Ronaldo’s Nap Ceremony after 4 goals

Man City’s Borges imitates Ronaldo’s Nap Ceremony after 4 goals. Carlos Borges, a teenager for Manchester City, reveled in his hat trick against the Red Devils on Saturday. On Saturday, Manchester City’s youth team defeated United 6-1, with Borges scoring four goals against the Red Devils. On a special day for City’s young fans, the Portuguese striker also grabbed attention when he chose to celebrate his hat-trick goal by imitating Ronaldo’s “nap” celebration.

It’s undeniable that Borges’ performance, who has been on a roll this season, was a standout. In just 18 games in all competitions, Borges has 16 goals, 10 assists, and three hat tricks. He will be hoping that his heroics will persuade Pep Guardiola to give him an opportunity with the first team. Teenager Borges interferes with Ronaldo’s celebration against Manchester United after he scored a hat-trick in a youth match for Man City. On Sunday in the Premier League against Aston Villa, Ronaldo will be looking to use his celebration once more.

It was evident as they fought to hold onto their advantage that Mark Dempsey’s team had only won once at Premier League 2 level this season while drawing seven of their first 11 games. This time, the Portuguese imitated fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo by performing the same iconic celebration that both he and Garnacho have recently displayed at the first-team level.

It simply goes to show that individuals who consistently make the news at the youth level are not always those who are destined for the top. A year ago, few would have expected that Garnacho and Lewis would be the two breakthrough stars for their respective sides. Garnacho was reminded that although talent is one thing, it must be coupled with hard work and the proper mindset when both Ten Hag and Bruno Fernandes expressed worries about his attitude.
