Schalke star maintained that playing for the new community is in total peace with everybody else connected, and the squad needs an identity, proposed U.S. Men’s national team player Weston McKennie.
He says he thinks that after joining the group, the USMNT team has constructed its reputation over the timeframe and that the young core of the team has built a lot of teamwork in the time they were together.
“I think of the whole community anytime I think about the national team – because we know what we want to achieve, we know the kind of players we have, so everybody knows what they have to give, what we should do, and everyone knows our ability,” McKennie told ESPN.
“I don’t agree when they say it’s a lack of identity. Our team is so tight together, so bonded together and knowing each other so well, it’s something that I haven’t felt in a long time.”
