As a long-term successor to Andres Iniesta, Barcelona has spotted teenage Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.
Together with two young players, Blaugrana would be willing to pay €60 million for the central midfielder – who would have a combined transfer value of €10 million, claims the report in Corriere Della Sera, via Diario AS.
The midfielder achieved his first cap in October for the senior Italian national team and started 23 matches on their return to Serie A for the club this campaign.
Tonali was also linked to Paris Saint-Germain and was also on the Atletico de Madrid radar, the same outlet claimed last October.
Tonali has become a real star of the little Italian club and has for some time been linked to Italy’s biggest clubs.
Known as the ‘the new Andrea Pirlo’ is now described as the ‘new Iniesta.’
‘Back in February that he had received ‘a very important offer’ without telling the
footballer anything to give him ‘a big surprise in June.’ said Brescia’s president, Massimo Cellino.
