President Florentino Perez has reported that Real Madrid will not conduct all of their remaining La Liga home matches at the Santiago Bernabeu as the tournament resumes.
Perez confirmed to make repairs before the time at the iconic stadium, the decision was taken to finish the initiative away from the Bernabeu.
“We have made the choice to compete in the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in our Ciudad Real Madrid all the games in which we will participate as the home team.” Perez wrote in a letter to Madrid’s fans.
“This decision will help us to make progress in Santiago Bernabeu stadium works.”
In the summer of 2022, the new Bernabeu was supposed to be finished, although Perez’s announcement can see the project built ahead of time.
