No positive results found in the Premier League’s new round of coronavirus testing.
There were zero positive cases of coronavirus, the Premier League has confirmed in its latest round of testing.
The league reported on Monday that a total of 1,973 players and club officials were checked between June 29 and July 5.
In the previous round of testing, there had only been one positive finding.
That means only 19 positive results were yielded from 16,280 tests that were carried out since May 17.
In the wake of the June 17 pandemic, England ‘s top-flight came back from a three-month suspension.
On July 26 the Premier League season will conclude, with the final of the FA Cup set for August 1.
