According to Fabrizio Romano, after days of ongoing negotiations, Manchester City has completed a move for Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres.
After completing today’s medical the Spaniard has reportedly signed an agreement that will keep him in the club until June 2025. Valencia will receive an initial £27 million fee that could increase with an eventual add-on.
Manchester City missed out on the Premier League title by an amazing 18 points in the season that has just gone away since City will be keen to ensure the swift retaking of their crown next season.
However, Pep Guardiola will be aware that catching Liverpool will once again be a tough task without substantial recruitment. With the arrival of Ferran Torres, significant recruitment looks likely to start.
