West ham is linked to sign the Manchester United duo Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard this summer.
The moves will however depend on whether this season the Hammers manage to beat the drop. West Ham must stay up to sign the two players, the club is also currently in the relegation battle.
According to Independent, David Moyes wants to get a reunion with the Old Trafford duo.
As Manchester United manager, he had worked with both players.
Everton is also interested in Lingard, report states.
Both players should look to move on in search of regular first-team football and have fallen the hierarchical structure at Old Trafford. A move to West Ham wouldn’t have been a bad choice.
For a midtable club such as West Ham, Jones can be a helpful defender and Lingard could also be a clever addition.
At the right price, both players could be good additions to the squad as West Ham needs more depth on their side.
It’s unlikely Manchester United will stand in their way if a good offer comes in. It will be interesting to see if this summer Moyes will be able to attract the two players to London.
