Bayern Munich prepared to overturn first-leg loss to PSG

Last year Champions League holders Bayern Munich will endeavor to overturn a 3-2 defeat from the first leg of their quarter-final with Paris Saint-Germain. Staring down the barrel of elimination the Munich team will battle at the French capital for a place in the semi-finals. Bayern face PSG in Champions League quarter-finals return leg at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.

Paris Saint-Germain threatening the Bavarians in the Champions League quarter-finals are the ones who lost the trophy to the same team last season.

Kylian Mbappe saved a goal for the French giant in the first leg against Bayern Munich, leading the team reach 90 minutes away from the semi-finals.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller ensured that the German giants would take something into the second leg, but Mbappe was simply too hot to handle on the night and slotted home PSG’s third following a sweeping counter-attack, as Les Parisiens gained a measure of revenge after last year’s heartbreaking defeat in the final.

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick has spoken out ahead of the Champions League quarter-finals return leg: “It will be a tough task, but these are the games we play for. We want to cause a mini upset in Paris. Of course, we’ll be delighted if we manage that.”

Bayern Munich vs PSG Champions League quarter-finals will be streamed in India on the SonyLiv app at 12:30 am on 14th April 2021, Wednesday. On television it will be broadcasted on TEN 2, Sony TEN 2 HD, Sony SIX and Sony SIX HD TV channels
