Barcelona is said to have been planning to ship Philippe Coutinho out to fork out the money that Liverpool still owes for its 2018 move.
In January 2018 Brazil International completed a transfer to Camp Nou for an astounding €160m (£137m), but its three-year stay in Catalonia has not gone the way it would have planned.
Ronald Koeman is reported to have observed Coutinho as a valuable part of his team, but he was closely connected to a move back to the Premier League during the most recent summer window-which went nowhere-but his future in Barcelona is still in the air.
Liverpool is now waiting to earn more than €50m (£42.9m) for his move, according to Sport.
