After Arsenal and Tottenham now Everton player Moise Kean found flouting lockdown restrictions on coronavirus. Moise Kean is likely to face disciplinary actions as during COVID-19 he filmed himself partying himself until the dawn, in a clear breach of the government’s social distancing rules.
20-year-old Kean has failed to impress, in his debut season in England scoring for the Toffees only once in 26 games, is likely to face disciplinary actions. Moise could be forced to pay a fine of around £100,000, which accounts for about two weeks’ salaries for the forward says the Liverpool Echo, even though Everton is unlikely to confirm any punishment.
A club statement read: “Everton Football Club was appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored guidance from the government and club policy on the coronavirus crisis.
“The club expressed strongly its disappointment with the player and made it clear that such actions are totally unacceptable.
“Everton has regularly stressed the importance of following all the guidelines of government – including rules and advice for indoors and outdoors – through a series of official communications to all staff members, including players.
“The incredible people at the NHS deserve the greatest respect for their hard work and sacrifice. Kean is the latest Premier League player to flout the rules after Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker were forced to apologize for breaking lockdown restrictions, while Tottenham pair Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko were filmed training together earlier this week.”
