Pep Guardiola is been persuaded by Manchester City to sign a new deal.
As a result of City’s planned ban on European competitions, Guardiola’s future has been left unclear over the past five months.
Nonetheless, with City winning an appeal against their fine, club administrators seem to want to mark the change of result by extending the stay at the Etihad Stadium for the Spaniard.
According to The Mirror, Guardiola will be given the chance to pen fresh terms with a significant pay increase.
This has also been reported that during this season giving Liverpool the Premier League title, City wants to make a series of high-profile signatures.
At the end of next season, the new contract for Guardiola is set to expire.
