Manchester City is ready to sign Toni Kroos of Real Madrid

Manchester City is ready to sign Toni Kroos of Real Madrid. Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is available to be signed by Manchester City at the end of the current campaign for a net salary of €20 million, according to El Nacional. The German midfielder’s contract at the Santiago Bernabeu is up this season. Florentino Perez, the club president, is willing to extend Kroos’ contract, albeit for just one season and at the same pay.

Based on how well Kroos performs for the team, he would like to prolong his contract every year. Similar contracts were presented to Sergio Ramos before he departed Los Blancos and Luka Modric is currently under one. Kroos, who will turn 33 in January, is rapidly approaching the end of his playing career. But for the time being, he has proven that he is capable of managing Real Madrid’s midfield. In 18 games across all competitions this season, Kroos has one goal and four assists.

He is not representing Germany at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar because he retired from the national squad to concentrate completely on club football. His playing career might get a boost from a move to the Premier League. Kroos may feel uncertain about his future if Real Madrid continues with their intention to want to renew his contract each year. While City is apparently willing to extend him a three-year contract.

In exchange, he would receive a net salary of about €60 million and the assurance that he would play for a prestigious club until he was 36 years old. Pep Guardiola, the manager, is aware of Kroos’ contributions. In the 2013–14 season, he participated in 51 games under the Spanish coach at Bayern Munich, working with him to win the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
