Juventus had started talks with Mino Raiola to bring Paul Pogba back from Manchester United to Turin, state reports in France.
The talks begin in earnest after months of flirtation with the possibility of a comeback, according to le10sport.com.
There has recently been an air of remorse over Pogba’s €105 m move to Manchester United in the summer of 2016. The 27-year-old never hid his passion for Juve.
Bianconeri is in a better negotiating role as Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are not able to settle for the midfielder.
Pogba will be an interesting addition to Maurizio Sarri’s squad, with Miralem Pjanic on his way out and Adrien Rabiot likely to follow.
The winner of the World Cup was also linked to the return of the Series A for Inter, where he was reunited with Antonio Conte.
For Juventus Pogba has made 178 competitive appearances, adding 34 goals and 40 assists.
