After another win on Sunday against Cagliari, Luis Muriel is optimistic at the chances of Atalanta climbing the table.
The Colombian forward, who scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the match, and in Sardinia, Atalanta beat the home team 1-0 to make it eight on the bounce, claimed La Dea could start thinking of surpassing their rivals in the top four.
“To what we can achieve we aim high,” Muriel told Sky Sport Italia. “We have five points ahead of Lazio and one point to Inter. We can achieve those targets.”
“It’s hard to keep up with Juventus but it would be wonderful to finish one or two more places higher than we are right now.”
In Serie A, Muriel took his tally to 16 this season, appearing 27 times for the Orobici, who sit fourth after 30 games.
