Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has revealed that ‘in the next few days’ he can announce a new contract and aims to fight in 2020-21 for the Scudetto.
Poland International has lauded coach Gennaro Gattuso and asserts he is planning with the Partenopei, ahead of the match against the coach’s former club Milan.
“Gattuso has a really strong charisma, just as when he was performing. He’s a tough guy, “Zielinski told Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia).
“We’ve been talking for some time and I expect the announcement will appear in the following days.”
“I feel good here and at Napoli want to continue.”
He expects to be back in the battle for the Scudetto next season with Napoli on the rise under Gattuso, scoring two goals and three assists this term.
“Yes, we’ve got a really good team, even if we have to see who’ll stay here. But new players are coming and we’re going to continue to be strong.”
