This is how Czech Republic and England will lineup for last Group D match

Czech Republic and England will compete for the right to qualify from Group D as group champions when they will meet at Wembley on Tuesday night. In the last matches both the teams earned a point, with the Three Lions failing to beat Scotland and the Czech Republic holding Croatia to a 1-1 draw.

Team news

Czech Republic lineup: Vaclik; Coufal, Kalas, Celustka, Boril; Soucek, Kral; Masopust, Darida, Jankto; Schick

The Czech Republic has a very settled team, but Alex Kral or Tomas Holes will replace Tomas Soucek from West Ham.

England lineup: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw; Rice, Phillips; Sancho, Mount, Grealish; Kane

Gareth Southgate is likely to change his starting XI for the last group encounter after a dreadful 0-0 draw with Scotland on Friday night.

England fans may finally get their demand for Jack Grealish to start with Phil Foden facing a one-match suspension.

Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire may return to the team after working hard to recover from injuries.

If Southgate intends to use a back three against superior teams in the knockout round, he may consider it against Czech Republic.

Southgate is unlikely to sit his captain despite the fact that Harry Kane has looked sluggish in England’s first two matches.

Kyle Walker, Ben Chilwell, and Kieran Trippier are all vying for a place in the starting lineup.

Czech Republic vs England Prediction

England and Czech Republic are tied on four points as they proceed to the last game. Both teams would advance if the match ended in a draw, with the Czech Republic taking first place and England taking second.

England had a strong start against Croatia but struggled against Scotland. The head coach Gareth Southgate can’t afford another poor performance. The Czech Republic has had an outstanding start to Euro 2020, hence, have nothing to fear on Tuesday.

Southgate is under pressure once again to name a starting XI capable of boosting the nation’s morale with a free-flowing attacking display, and with some fringe names in the final third hoping for a chance to shine, we remain confident that England can win by a narrow margin and progress as group winners.

Our Prediction: Czech Republic 1-2 England
