Manchester City: New contracts for key players, New away kit launch

Manchester City is set to hand a new contract to key players from the first team. As Man City will offer fresh contracts for important players the Athletic claims that Ederson will be granted a 3-year contract extension. The talks on the deal are expected to take place shortly.

The 27-year-old isn’t the only player in line for a new contract, however, as it’s reported that John Stones, Phil Foden, and Ruben Dias are also in talks with the Manchester club. These players are also in discussions over extensions – with Stones now into the final year of his current deal. It is added that Raheem Sterling is also set to be offered a new contract.

Man City launch new water inspired away kit

Football club Manchester City has unveiled their new away kit for the 2021/22 season. The club’s press office informs that the new kit features water droplets throughout the design and is produced to raise awareness of access to safe water across the globe.

The Puma shirt is white, with blue trims on the sleeves and around the neck. The City logo features iridescent colours from blue to pink, described in ‘leaked’ information as ‘ocean depths’.

The 2021-22 Man City home kit is the traditional sky blue colour, with the logos in white instead of the darker blue of the previous season. The ambition is to reach over 10 thousand young people focusing on Manchester, Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires, and Mumbai. Puma remains the technical sponsor of the Manchester club.
