After Sunday’s 2-1 win over Sampdoria that made Inter six points behind Juventus’ Serie A champion, Romelu Lukaku made a battle cry to his teammates.
“It was really necessary to score because from now until the end of the season there are 12 competitions, all of the life or death,” Lukaku told Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia) ahead of Wednesday’s mid-table Sassuolo.
“We’ve got to focus now and get fired on Wednesday.”
“Every game is tough from now on, and it won’t be easy for anyone. We’ve done pretty hard in preparation, the squad is in good condition physically, so we’ve had to keep working to get better, so it’s going to be a game every three days.”
