Leeds intends to sign the Atalanta and the national team of Ukraine midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi, to strengthen the squad, claims The Telegraph.
Marcelo Bielsa is looking for an attacking midfielder who could compete with Pablo Hernandez.
Initially, Leeds considered the candidacy of Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese, who asked 30 million euros for the Argentinean, and the club could not agree on the price.
Malinovsky is not worse than De Paul, but he can be bought for 20 million, according to Leeds coach.
Last season, De Paul scored 7 goals and spent 35 matches for Udinese in all tournaments. Ruslan played 44 matches for Atalanta and scored 9 goals.
