Sevilla beat Betis 2-0 in the 28th round of the Spanish La Liga, in the big city derby.
The season in Spain continued with a great match between Seville and Betis after a three-month break. Sevilla fans gathered in front of the stadium and their cheering gave a special charm, although the match was played behind closed doors.
In the end, the fans of Seville really had reason to celebrate because their team celebrated with 2:0. Sevilla was better from the very beginning and in the first half the home team created several chances, but there were no goals.
In the second half, Sevilla also dictated the pace of the game. In the 56th minute, the home side managed to take the lead after Bartra fouled a penalty. Ocampos scored 1:0 and took responsibility from the penalty spot.
The job in this match Sevilla ended just six minutes later. After the corner, the ball came to Fernando who managed to score for 2:0 and a big celebration of the Seville fans who were in front of the stadium.
Until the end of the game, Betis tried to at least reduce the advantage but in the end, they did not succeed.
Sevilla is still third on the table with 50 points and has six points less than second-placed Real, after this victory. Betis is in the 12th position with 33 points.
