Juve’s Allegri stormed off the field against Milan

Massimiliano Allegri was so enraged after Juventus’ 1-1 draw with Milan that he stormed off the field. He was found cursing and yelling at his players during the football match. The Old Lady failed to win in the first four Serie A games for the first time in 60 years.

A video is surfing on the internet, that shows the moment Allegri stormed off the field swearing in Italian and saying: “They even want to play for Juventus,” clearly aimed at his players. Allegri urged his players to recognize that the Juventus jersey is “heavier” than those of other clubs in his post-match press conference.

In an interview with DAZN, directing at Federico Chiesa and other young players he stated they must understand what it means to play for the Bianconeri. Massimiliano Allegri has also commented on the 1-1 draw with AC Milan. “Despite a good first half, when we created chances and allowed Milan just one opportunity, we even risked defeat at the end of a game that had been under total control.”

Allegri told DAZN, as per Football Italia reports football news, “Unfortunately, we lost that concentration, determination and focus. Just look at the corner where we conceded the goal. It’s not possible to give this game away after being in control. Evidently, we need to make progress.”

“I am admitting a mistake on substitutions, I got it wrong. I should’ve put more defensive players on and put the 1-0 lead under lock and key, so I take responsibility for that.

It was important to get a positive result and we did. A defeat would’ve not definitively left us behind Milan, but a big advantage, now it is easier to bridge.”

“There were some positives – the first half, but what makes me angry are the final 15 minutes. We should’ve suffered more, should’ve been ready to fight. At those moments, you can’t look at being aesthetically beautiful, you just take the result home, even if it’s ugly.”

“Fortunately the referee blew the final whistle, because we frankly risked defeat. If you don’t realize that you must put all personal issues aside, work as a full-back even if you’re a striker, then you won’t bring these results home”.
