Manchester United: Paul Pogba rubbishes report of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer snub

Manchester United: Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba has refuted any claims that he snubbed Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after their 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool. Pogba came on as a substitute in the second half and was sent off 15 minutes later after a challenge on Naby Keita. According to reports, the Frenchman did not talk to the manager and put off talks of a possible contract after the game. Pogba called the article fake news on his social media calling it a lie to make headlines. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season and he can talk to clubs abroad as early as January.

“I don’t care what anybody says but if any other manager at any other club in Europe lost 5-0 at home to your biggest rivals, the manager is gone.” Paul Merson said after a possible rift between Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and the manager. “If Chelsea or Arsenal lost 5-0 at home to Tottenham, the manager would do well to still be there on Monday morning. “Manchester United have won just one Premier League game in five, that just isn’t acceptable, and yet the manager has still got a job. I don’t know what’s going on at the club.”
