The German Football Association (DFB) announced, that the German Football Cup finals will be played in Berlin on July 4 without spectators.
The dates of the semi-final trials have also been postponed, which were supposed to be played on June 9 and 10.
Defending champion Bayern and 2018 winner Eintracht will meet in the semi-finals, while Bayer Leverkusen and quarter-finalist Saarbrucken will compete in the second match.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, the final was postponed to early July while it was initially scheduled for May 23.
“This variant is the best. We all hope to experience great matches again next season in full arenas and in the stadiums of amateur clubs that make this competition so unique,” said DFB President Fritz Keller.
