Manchester City received the green light at the Etihad Stadium, to stage their Premier League fixture against Liverpool on 2nd July.
City-Liverpool was one of five matches the police asked to be held at a neutral venue due to security concerns before the top flight was resumed earlier this month.
On Thursday a meeting was conducted among the safety advisory group from Manchester City Council, who concluded that there were “no objections” to the fixture at City’s home ground.
