Yesterday season restart precautions continued at Chelsea with a back-closed-door friendly at Cobham against Reading.
With the resumption of the top-flight only a week and a half away, the Blues trained on our training ground with the Championship team to help build up match fitness. It follows from Saturday’s home match contested at Stamford Bridge.
Yesterday Chelsea won 1-0 courtesy of Pedro’s first-half goal. Among those involved were N’Golo Kante, who returned to touch training yesterday, as were Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Billy Gilmour.
While former Blue, John Swift, had a Cobham return, present Chelsea loanee Matt Miazga appeared in Reading ranks.
