The UEFA Champions League, one of the most prestigious football tournaments in the world, is being watched every new season. The fans of this game are probably more than any other game in the whole world. In the new season of the Champions League, people’s eyes are also on how the favorite team of the fans will get the draw. The draw for the upcoming Champions League season is out.
For the upcoming season 2021-22 of the UEFA Champions League, the 32 top club teams have been divided into eight groups, with defending champions England’s Chelsea team being considered easy in Group H. This includes Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg, and Malmö along with the Blues.
At the same time, in Group A, Barcelona’s former player Pep Guardiola’s team Manchester City will be seen facing Lionel Messi’s new team Paris Saint-Germain. Lionel Messi will face Pep Guardiola in his first Champions League season with Paris Saint-Germain. Another storyline could enter the City versus PSG debate, as Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo – Messi’s long-time rival – has been strongly linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium.
If Ronaldo does not leave Juventus, he will face the holders Chelsea – who defeated City in the final last season – in Group H. On the other hand, Real Madrid will play alongside Inter Milan, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Sheriff in Group D, while Spanish team Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are in Group B along with former winners Porto and AC Milan.
Barcelona is placed in Group E along with Bayern Munich, Benfica, and Dynamo Kyiv. Villarreal, Atalanta, and Young Boys are in Group F with Manchester United.
