It has been established by Jurgen Klopp‘s representative that the German manager of Liverpool won’t be leaving, despite rumors to the contrary. Following Liverpool’s on-field problems, much-known talk about Klopp’s future in the club along with some speculations that he may step down as manager. Marc Kosicke, the agent for Klopp, has publicly refuted these allegations and expressed his support for the team. Klopp’s agent speaks about the Liverpool manager’s on coming days
Kosicke was quoted by Florian Plettenburg as saying, “I can ensure that Jürgen Klopp has no intention of leaving Liverpool FC. The club’s owners were aware that issues would occur this season as a result of the previous intense season before the season began. Jurgen maintains constant communication with the decision-makers and benefits from their support. He is committed to continuing and effectively completing the change in Liverpool because he loves the organization, his team, and the supporters. He didn’t simply extend his contract till 2026.
Liverpool has now gone backward after what appeared to be a stunning victory against Manchester City at home last month, as injuries and inconsistency have taken their toll on the team. They are currently ninth in the table after 12 games, some 16 points behind league-leading Arsenal, after consecutive losses in the Premier League to Nottingham Forest and Leeds. Before the World Cup begins, the German coach has a few games remaining to help Liverpool find a vein of consistency and quality once more.
