Kai Havertz is uncertain about his future, calls a meeting with senior figures

While Kai Havertz seeks to figure out his future, Manchester United and Chelsea asked to sit down with bosses at Bayer Leverkusen.

The German star has drawn attention from all over Europe, following a spectacular season.

But both the Champions league duo and Real Madrid were all linked to a Havertz swoop.

So the 21-year-old has demanded to sit down in the BayArena with senior figures to decide how next season he’ll be playing his football, reports Bild.

Chelsea has emerged to sign the German as a favorite and has already demonstrated its willingness to splash the cash.

If an acceptable arrangement can be achieved, they would allow the player to leave in the coming months confirmed Leverkusen CEO, Rudi Voller.

“There is nothing special to say, nothing specific to consider. He is our player as of now,” he added.

“We have our plans; we know what he would do. I really think he can continue for another year. We’ve got an agreement: if it works, he’ll be free to go this summer.”
