Gonzalo Higuain and Adrien Rabiot are supposed to return to training today as Juventus verifies that all the COVID-19 tests have turned negative.
To update fans on the coronavirus situation within the squad, the club issued a statement yesterday.
“For several days now, the Juventus players have been carrying out individual training sessions in small groups, all whilst keeping their distance.”
“In the application of the indications by the FIGC’s Federal Medical Scientific Commission, yesterday, the whole team underwent diagnostic tests which came back with negative results; in the next few days training will resume in larger groups.”
Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira also took part in the training session yesterday. Blaise had COVID-19 in March.
Higuain and Rabiot will be welcomed back to the training center today, according to Corriere Dello Sport.
They returned later than the others from abroad, so they had to go to quarantine.
However, lately, the guidelines have been altered, making them all-clear if they have two negative swab tests in 48 hours.
Milan practiced the same technique to Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he returned from Sweden.
