An interview with John Stones opened up the evergreen questions for every generation in the history of football, “The Question is, who is the best football player of our generation”. These kinds of questions may not see an end as there will be many rising stars, creating their fortune writing their story of life, and progressing with a lot of fame and name.

Quite an old question now it arrises for Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, as being the legendary players will be seen leaving the field in the next coming few years however their history says it all. John Stones also shared his thought about the players. He said, “There are many players who are the best, however, there’s no single name and there’s no wrong or right. My favorite is Messi. I wish I could play as he does and score Goals like he scores. On the other side, Cristiano Ronaldo an amazingly skilled, physically and mentally with his kind of goals. They’re both amazing and the world’s greatest.”

John Stones has seen them and admired them for their performance. Stone has built up the ranks after starting his football journey at Barnsley, slowly graduating all the way up the ladder to Manchester City now. Stones were down in the memory lane to recollect the memories of the football kits and saw some of the old ones from Barnsley which reminded him of the beginning of his career.

Stones also shared, “I felt like I was in FIFA the game, I still remember my debut match. It was the first time I have seen so many spectators and supporters live in the stadium and I was trying to look across avoiding and being on the defensive line. That day was not good as we lost 4-0 to Reading but the feel is something that I remember. This memory will stay with me always.”
