Hungary 1-1 Germany

Hungary and Germany play out a 1-1 draw in their Nations League Group A3 clash at the Puskas Arena.

Zsolt Nagy fired the home side ahead in the sixth minute, but Jonas Hofmann responded soon after with his second goal in two matches for Die Mannschaft.

Both teams had opportunities in the second half as Hofmann spurned the best by opting not to go for the goal.

While Martin Adam missed two close-range headers, as a result, the draw was a fair result between the two sides.

Goals:

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! NAGY BLASTS HUNGARY AHEAD!!!! 1-0!!! What a start for the home side as Zsolt Nagy fires a powerful strike into the roof of the net. Fiola breaks down the right flank, latching to a ball over the top and hooks a dangerous cross into the middle. Sallai latches on to the cross to head at goal, but Neuer palms away from his effort. However, Zsolt is first to the rebound and hammers his attempt high past Neuer before the keeper can react. A super strike.

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! HOFMANN RESPONDS FOR GERMANY!!!!! 1-1!!!!!! A simple ball over the top catches Hungary, and Hofmann collects before rounding Gulacsi and converting the opening. Schlotterbeck launches a long ball forward for Hofmann in space behind the Hungary defence, and he takes a neat touch around the onrushing Gulacsi before rolling a left-footed strike into the net.
