Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had twice tested negative for COVID-19 and was allowed to break quarantine in order to return to his apartment after one week.
Zlatan returned on Monday after spending the entire lockdown in Sweden, he was taken straight to the Milanello training ground to stay in a quarantined bed.
Ibrahimovic obtained two coronavirus swabs and both resulted in negative, according to MilanNews.it.
Therefore he was permitted to go back to his apartment where he was supposed to isolate himself for another seven days, breaking the quarantine.
Ibrahimovic needs blood tests and a thorough medical review before he can start training with the rest of the team.
The veteran confirmed his change of scenery with a picture of him looking over his balcony on Instagram and Twitter.
“God is back and watches over you,” he wrote.
