With the English Premier League side, Chelsea, French striker Olivier Giroud (33), and Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero (38) have elongated their agreement for another term.
“I am thrilled to be able to continue my journey and adventure in the ranks of the ‘Blues’. I can’t wait to get back on the field and enjoy competitive football with my teammates,” the French striker told for club’s website.
In September 2018, Giroud moved from Arsenal to Stamford Bridge and has scored 21 goals in 76 appearances in the Blues jersey so far.
Argentine goalkeeper Caballero also stays at Stamford Bridge.
“Times are tough for everyone, so I feel blessed for this occasion and I truly appreciate it,” Caballero said.
Caballero has made 31 appearances so far at Chelsea since he transferred from Manchester City in 2017.
“I believe in Willy, he trains great and is a top professional. His quality and experience are invaluable in the locker room,” said Blues manager Frank Lampard, commenting on Giroud’s stay at the club.
“Since arriving at the club, Olivier has excelled as a professional and as a man in general.”
