Gennaro Gattuso praises Ronaldo says Al Nassr is fortunate

Gennaro Gattuso praises Ronaldo says Al Nassr is fortunate. The relocation of Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia, according to Valencia coach Gennaro Gattuso, will benefit the league. The newly acquired Al Nassr player has yet to play a game but could do so against PSG later this month in a friendly. Following his release from Manchester United in November, Ronaldo last week joined Al Nassr. Despite receiving offers from all over the world, the Portuguese star decided to go to Saudi Arabia.

Gattuso wished Ronaldo well with his new club before their Supercopa Espana semifinal matchup in Saudi Arabia. The decision, according to the Italian manager, is advantageous for the league “Cristiano Ronaldo’s visit to Saudi Arabia is lucky. I wish him luck with his new team and think this is a good move for the league.”

It’s nothing new for Gennaro Gattuso to praise Cristiano Ronaldo; the Italian has long been a fan of the Portuguese great. When Juventus and AC Milan met in the Supercoppa Italiana four years ago, the manager had nice things to say about the forward.

Gattuso declared: “Cristiano has improved greatly as a player in the past seven or eight years, in my opinion. When I first met him a few years back, he was performing frequently, but he has since stopped. He now attacks with depth and vehemence in all he does.”

Gattuso also said “He wants to score, frustrate you, and put the ball in the back of the net. Over the past seven or eight years, he has evolved into the ideal machine. He sprints more as he gets older. He appears to be a young man. You can see how successful a player he has been over the past eight years by reading this.”

After playing for three of the top teams in Europe, Cristiano Ronaldo declared he had accomplished everything on the continent and had nothing more to achieve. He turned down all other offers in favor of joining Al Nassr since he was looking for a new challenge.
