Goals:

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! EDWARDS BUNDLES A STRIKE HOME!!!!!! 1-0 SPORTING!!!!! The visitors take the lead as Edwards’ deflected strike finds the bottom-right corner. Morita collects inside from Pote on the left flank and sends a cutback to Edwards in the middle. His first touch is loose, but he manages to get an effort away despite pressure from Ebimbe to find the back of the net.

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! TRINCAO DOUBLES SPORTING’S LEAD!!!! 2-0!!!!! Just like that, Sporting extended their lead with a clinical counter finished well by Trincao. Pote starts the break as he collects a pass from Ugarte and feeds Edwards. The forward runs at the Frankfurt defence before he rolls the ball to Trincao. The Portuguese take a neat first touch, and his second is even better, drilling a low left-footed effort into the bottom-right corner with precision.

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! NUNO SANTOS MAKES IT THREE!!!!!!! 3-0 SPORTING!!!!! The Portuguese side pours on the agony for the home team as Nuno Santos converts with a neat finish on the counter. Porro creates the opening single-handedly by winning possession down the right flank and then driving past two Frankfurt defenders. He angles a cross to the back post for Nuno Santos to collect and slot past Trapp with composure on his left foot.
