FIFA 22 players rating: Ronaldo dropped to third while Messi remains on top

EA Sports has confirmed FIFA 22 players rating of top 22 players. Lionel Messi has retained the status of the best player in the world on FIFA 22 following his football transfer to PSG. On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo, who rejoined Manchester United, has dropped to third place. FIFA 22 will be launched on September 27, 2021.

Pushing CR7 into third place Robert Lewandowski’s rating increased from 91 to 92 and is named second best player after Lionel Messi. Kevin De Bruyne, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Jan Oblak received the same rating as Ronaldo. EA Sports has only ranked four other players in the 90s, including Premier League heavyweights Harry Kane and N’Golo Kante, as well as German stoppers Manuel Neuer and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

In FIFA 22 Lionel Messi has been rated higher than both Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski to claim the title of the best player in the world yet again. Since joining the French club the Barcelona legend has maintained his 93 overall ratings while Ronaldo has dropped from 92 to 91 after leaving Juventus to rejoin Manchester United.
