Endrick Felipe makes history at the age of 16

Endrick Felipe after making his senior debut at age 16 with Palmeiras, the Brazilian teen phenom who has drawn interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona made history.

Endrick, a left-footed attacker with a potent shot, has been compared to the great Brazilian forwards Ronaldo and Romário. After turning 16 in the summer, the young player signed his first professional contract and, in a league game against Coritiba, coach Abdel Ferreira finally gave him the chance to shine for the senior club. In the 69th minute, he was substituted in for center-forward Rony.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling for Endrick’s services because they believe he has what it takes to replace Neymar. In preparation for a potential transfer when the player reaches 18 on July 21, 2024, Barcelona representatives have already spoken with the player’s camp. With the Brazilian Serie A team, he has already agreed to a three-year contract with a €60 million release clause that lasts until the summer of 2025.

When in an interview Endrick said, “I’ll always fight,” when asked to explain his playing style. I’ll keep trying and being persistent right up until the very end of the game. I push defenders and run more than anyone else on the field because I never give up.” Ronaldo is his idol he further added.

Endrick has already been called up for the Brazilian U-20 team and has an incredible 165 goals in 169 minor games. After making his debut last week, the forward will attempt to earn a starting spot in Palmeiras’ upcoming game against Atletico Goianiense on October 11.
