Footballers from Switzerland’s Young Boys, Portugal’s Benfica, and Sweden’s Malmo made it to the group stage of this season’s Champions League on Tuesday. We have recorded the Champions League recap played on last night.
The Young Boys defeated Hungarian Ferencvaros 3-2 in Budapest in the return leg, and they went on with a total of 6-4 match score as they celebrated the same result in the first match in Bern. Zesiger took the lead for the guests in the 4th minute, but until the break, the home team turned it around with goals from Wing in the 18th minute and Mmaeee scored in the 27th minute only to take Fassnacht (56) and Mambimbi (90 + 3) further.
Having fewer players Benfica played 0-0 with home PSV in Eindhoven and thus defended the 2-1 advantage gained in Lisbon six days ago. On the other hand, Malmo won a place in the “elite” despite a 1-2 defeat by Ludogorets in Razgrad because in the first game they won 2-0.
The home team – Ludogorets took the lead with a goal by Nedjalkov (10), in the opening match, at the end of the first half, Birmančević (42) equalized, and Ludogorets gained a new advantage from a penalty kick that was played by Čolak and Sotiriou (60-11m). However, by the end of the match, the result had not changed.

Both the teams scored the same as the first leg match and Youngs Boys made it to the Champions League on 4-6 aggregate scores.
Ludogorets vs Malmo 0 – 2
Ludogorets failed to hit the net in the second leg hence Malmo win the game on a 2-0 score adding aggregates and making a 2-3 final score.
PSV vs Benfica 0 – 0
PSV and Benfica played a goalless draw but considering their leg 1 football scores Benfica reached the next stage on 1-2 aggregates.
