Barcelona targets Rafael Leao from Chelsea. Rafael Leao, a 24-year-old target of Chelsea, is the subject of a hijack move by Barcelona, claims Mundo Deportivo. Leao has been in excellent form for AC Milan thus far this season, contributing nine assists along with seven goals in 20 games. The attacker, though, was ineffective against the Blues in either leg of Milan’s UEFA Champions League match.
The defending Italian champions were defeated 5-0 overall. Chelsea is still interested in the attacker and will keep an eye on his World Cup performance in 2022. The Rossoneri have Leao under contract through the 2024 summer season. He presently has a €150 million release clause. If Leao chooses to leave the Italian club, a middle ground in terms of fees may be reached.
Because Armando Broja and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have struggled to make an impression, the Blues are trying to strengthen their assault. A handful of the Premier League team’s offseason transfer moves have been appropriated by Barcelona. Raphinha and Jules Kounde were among those who supported moving to Spain. Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso both arrived at the team from the London-based club.
Since joining Chelsea in 2012, Cesar Azpilicueta has done a tremendous job representing the club. He has played 493 times for the team and has 10 trophies to show for it. Additionally, he has won two UEFA Champions League trophies.
