Barcelona did not conduct any defamatory campaigns

The club did not conduct a smear campaign against third parties, determined an audit into the relationship between Barcelona and I3 Ventures.

Summing up the findings of the report on its official website, Barca wrote that “the contracting on behalf of FC Barcelona for various services related to the monitoring and analysis of social networks did not include any defamatory campaigns aimed at third parties.”

The price paid for the company of Barca I3 Ventures was “within market range” was noticed by PwC who has found no proof of corrupt financial activity.

In response to the findings of the report, Barca said: “The Board of Directors shall instruct the legal services of the Club to resume and, if necessary, bring the relevant legal action against those who have made false and unfounded accusations which have seriously damaged the image of the institution and those who are part of it.”

“In those proceedings launched against the Club on the basis of alleged irregular behavior that this document clarifies and denies, the content of this report and its conclusions will also be brought forward.”
