Barcelona after Brazilian Vitor Roque as Lewandowski’s successor

Barcelona after Brazilian Vitor Roque as Lewandowski’s successor. According to Jeunes Footeux, Barcelona is considering a transfer for Brazilian prospect Vitor Roque to take Robert Lewandowski’s place at the club. In 36 senior games across tournaments since joining Club Athletico Paranaense in April of last year, the 17-year-old striker has scored seven goals. But if Barca wants to sign him, they’ll have to fork out €40 million.

Some of the top Brazilian players to have recently moved to La Liga are Neymar, Vinicius Junior, and Casemiro. Endrick is the most recent celebrity from South America to travel to Spain. For the 16-year-old, Real Madrid consented to pay Palmeiras a sum of up to €70 million.

Now, Barcelona might try to recruit Roque, a young Brazilian forward. Despite Lewandowski joining the Blaugrana only last summer, the team is apparently searching for a long-term replacement.

He has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 15 La Liga games, displaying no signs of slowing down. But the 34-year-old cannot continue to compete at the highest level indefinitely. Furthermore, if Memphis Depay leaves the team, Roque might potentially serve as his temporary backup. The club is eager to sell the international from the Netherlands this month because he has six months left on his contract.

Although Arsenal has been mentioned as a potential suitor for the former Manchester United forward, it is unclear whether they will be able to make an official bid.
