Arsenal 5-1 Everton

Arsenal ends the Premier League campaign with an emphatic 5-1 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite their thrashing of the Toffees, Arsenal will have to settle for a spot in the Europa League, as Tottenham’s victory over Norwich City allowed them to finish in the top four ahead of their North London rivals.

Mikel Arteta can still be pleased with his team’s effort, as Gabriel Martinelli scored a penalty and Eddie Nketiah added a second.

The lone blemish on the day occurred when Donny van de Beek equalised for the visitors just before halftime.

On the other hand, Arsenal reacted with a strong second-half performance, with goals from Cedric Soares, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Martin Odegaard securing the three points.
