Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni aims to return as soon as possible and has told fans that he is ‘okay and isolated’.

The center-back returns today from the Italy Under-21 camp, after testing positive for coronavirus earlier this week.

Inter must determine whether to remain in solitary confinement at Appiano or at home and have established that the defender is asymptomatic.

Bastoni sent a message reassuring fans that he is okay on social media, thanking them for their support.

“Good morning everyone,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for the many messages I have received.”

“I’m fine and I’m in isolation. See you soon at San Siro, a big hug.”
