Managing Antoine Griezmann is complicated without “destabilizing” the squad as he put into further uncertainty the future of the Frenchman, acknowledged Barcelona head coach Quique Setien.
Before the coronavirus pandemic in February since Barca’s 1-1 draw against Napoli, Griezmann hasn’t scored in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League tie.
“I know why it is impossible for Griezmann to come back because there is too little time remaining. I’m going to talk to him tomorrow, I’m not going to say sorry but it’s about choices.” Setien said in his press conference.
“But I understand that he might feel bad and I feel bad for him because he’s a great and professional person.”
