Aguero glued his reputation as a Manchester City hero

Leaving Manchester City Sergio Aguero admitted that he had ‘not ruled out’ when his deal expired at the end of next season.

Argentina International secured his reputation as a city hero during his nine years at Etihad Stadium, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer in November 2017.

Including four Premier League championships, Aguero’s goals helped citizens achieve 10 big titles, but the Champions League has so far avoided them.

He has confirmed that he will soon have a major decision to make when the 31-year-old sets foot in the final 12 months of his current contract.

He told El Chiringuito, “I’m not thinking about what I am going to do,”

“Probably there will be some offers as I know that every day my contract is closer to expiring.

“For now I just want to try to win the Champions League with City. That would be a magnificent achievement for me and the club.

“But I haven’t really thought about what I will do after 2021. I don’t rule out going back to Spain, or going to any country. I don’t know what I will do.

“Today I feel good and comfortable in Manchester. I want to do everything in the club on the best terms, then we’ll see.”
